Some day 3 highlights I missed:

Eric Church on Stage!

Senior night at McDonald’s… Not one of them had BBQ sauce, only sweet and sour!

A big thank you to an amazing group of chaperones! We may have had as much fun as the kids. 20 years of collective memories is helpful when you need to laugh. All graduates of MPHS (except the director) classes of ’98, ’99, ’00, ’07, ’10!

Now on to Day 4

9:30 -on the ride to the Ryman Auditorium! Raining this morning.  Hopefully the track will dry for karting tonight!

Ryman was awesome! I am sure we all know more about country music then ever before.  Got to see Sophie one more time and then we headed back to Opry mills for lunch to get out of the rain.

12:00 – Opry Mills for lunch – the staff took a few minutes to look for new vehicles to move marching band props (just joking!)

3:00 – Belle Meade Plantation

Really interesting place and kids seem very focused on the history of the space!  The weather has drastically improved.

5:30 pm – Hard Rock Cafe

we are at Hard Rock now…

6:45 pm Grand Old Golf and Games – Clearly this stop was for the kids! I had no fun at all!  It was awesome and I had a great time on the track with the kids… A few bumps along the way but it was a fun way to end an awesome weekend!

9:50 pm (central time) and…We’re on the Road Again…… Next stop MPHS

Great weekend with awesome kids!  Can’t thank Traci from Peak Performance Tours and Tim from THG Bus Company for making a great weekend magically easy! Gonna be a long night on the road but we ready!
